About Sublime Solar
My name is Daniel Carbery, and I’m 40 years young. I love fishing, free diving, spearfishing, surfing and everything outdoors. I like being an electrician, but I love working mostly outside installing solar systems; it’s my wheelhouse. The goal is to get everyone’s power bills down and create a decent return on investment while also increasing the capital value of your property. On an already stressed power network and increasing numbers of power cuts, it makes it easier to make the switch. We can also offer the 1% clean energy loan for up to $80,000.
I have been designing and installing solar systems for over 7 years. I started in Australia, where the electric and solar market is more mature, so I bring a wealth of experience and advice from my time there. So whether you need a full off-grid system for your tiny home, a hybrid system for your residential property or even power for your remote farm shed – give me a call. He moved to Australia for 6 years, where he was drawn to Solar and started a successful residential and commercial solar business. As the market in Australia was more mature, he brought back a wealth of knowledge to NZ in 2016 and has been helping businesses and New Zealanders with their solar and electrical journeys ever since.

We pride ourselves on being upfront and honest about costs, all our solar products have prices, and our full install jobs are quoted upfront before we begin. Depending on your type of electrical job we can either quote, estimate or charge up, and we always itemise our invoices.
